EA SPORTS College Football 26
Role: Content Designer

College Football, and EA in general, was a high intensity and well oiled machine. Timelines were set well in advance and the runway / expectations for the game were known from the get go. This gave me ample experience in keeping up the pace on live service titles with rigorous near weekly updates that reflected the college football world's events. This job made me reactive and quick to jump on tasks, saving as much time as possible as moving tasks up sprints when applicable to stay ahead of the curve.
Between lots of meetings and learning EA's bespoke tools, the timeline in office was tight and required efficiency. This job sharpened my skills in the live-service genre, and honed my communication skills as the process of design-to-QA-to-production was a near daily occurrence. Having to balance refining old work and creating new content forced me to stay on top of my work and plan accordingly. I spent most of my time designing, implementing, and testing challenges for players to tackle every release, so I found myself getting my hands dirty in games varying states of development. Not to mention, it gave me a whole new appreciation for college football. Go Knights!
